Lisa Poncia
Senior Investigator
Lisa has been practicing law for over two decades, as both an estate planning and administration attorney, and an employment and civil litigator. She brings to her investigations practice perceptive listening skills and an approachable style, which allow witnesses to feel comfortable speaking with her and ultimately to provide her with the information that is needed to assess the concerns raised.
In addition to her legal experience, Lisa has experience running a small, family-owned and operated regenerative cattle ranch and meat company. The experience of having and managing employees of her own has given her unique insights into workplace conflict, in particular, the importance of dealing with it quickly, thoroughly and sensitively. She takes pride in her ability to connect with employees at all levels of an organization, from executive to entry-level.
Lisa’s goal for each investigation is protecting the neutral process and maintaining her own impartiality so as to provide clients the solid factual findings they need in order to make difficult decisions with confidence.
Lisa is a member of the State Bar of California and the Association of Workplace Investigators. She studied Political Science and Business Administration at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and got her law degree at UC Law SF (formerly UC Hastings).
