Nicole has nearly a decade of employment law experience, including significant roles in private practice, in which she handled a wide range of internal investigations and employment-related litigation. She has navigated both the plaintiff and defense perspectives, and has a nuanced understanding of the complexities involved in discrimination, harassment, and retaliation cases. 

Nicole is known as a discerning, thorough investigator with an ability to understand and articulate the intricacies of every matter. She excels in making personal and meaningful connections with individuals at all levels of an organization and across a variety of industries—from technology companies to traditional business settings. 

Approachable and perceptive, she is able to make witnesses feel comfortable providing detailed information. Further, her skills in critical analysis and evidence evaluation greatly enhance her capacity to conduct precise and objective investigations and come to reasoned conclusions. She prioritizes ensuring that clients receive detailed insights in support of their efforts to make correct legal and practical decisions. 

Nicole is a member of the State Bar of California and the Association of Workplace Investigators. She is also an Associate Professor at the University of San Francisco School of Law, where she teaches essential legal skills and equips the next generation of legal professionals with the knowledge and skills they need to make an impact in the evolving landscape of employment law.

She earned her law degree, with a certificate in International and Comparative Law, from the University of San Francisco School of Law. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of California, San Diego.
